GHOST MANNEQUIN FOR YOUR E-COMMERCE CATALOG
This image-editing technique involves physically removing the person wearing the garment from the photo, while preserving the natural folds of the fabric. Two photographs of the same garment – one worn by a model or mannequin, and one taken flat to show the inner part, usually behind the collar – are merged using post-production software.
The result provides a clear, detailed representation of the garment, allowing viewers to get an accurate, realistic idea of the product, even when browsing an online catalog.

During a shoot, especially when using natural light, it can be difficult to balance the lights and shadows evenly across the entire image to ensure correct exposure in every part. To address this, post-production software is used to create curves, with parameters that adjust the light in the image, both globally and in specific areas, modifying aspects like brightness, contrast, whites, and blacks.

In this case, the image’s color parameters are balanced within the shadow, highlight, and midtone channels.
