Irene

A Photographic Story: Irene’s Trip to New York

A trip to the Big Apple meant many things to Irene: the memory of the end of her school chapter, her first trip with a loved one, and the visit to the city of her dreams. While browsing through her phone’s roll, she noticed some images that seemed to tell a common story. She decided to entrust them to me, asking me to explore this feeling and develop a project that would narrate her adventure from a different perspective, giving me full creative freedom.

After selecting the most relevant shots, I worked on building the project in post-production. I focused mainly on balancing the light and managing the colors, creating a custom filter to unify the images. I also adjusted the cropping, paying particular attention to maintaining the reportage tone and the motion blur characteristic of Irene’s shots, preserving their authenticity and charm.
